In addition, SKY3DS/SKY3DS+ cards can support Freakyhax for installing Homebrew Menu on Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL consoles.

Freakyhax is from who?
This new Homebrew hack comes from the 3ds developer Plutoo and was just released on 3rd, June.

Freakyhax compatibility for Nintendo 3DS?
  * 3DS Firmwares: Recent 3DS firmware, including the latest v11.0.0-33 as of this writing
  * 3DS Consoles: It should work on 3ds family consoles, including 3DS, 3DS XL, NEW 3DS, NEW 3DS XL and 2DS.

Does SKY3DS or SKY3DS+ card support Freakyhax on 3DS V11.0 or not?
YES, definitely. Since the game is not AP check 3ds game, both SKY3DS and SKY3DS+ can play this game on 3DS/NEW3DS/2DS consoles. Just like their support for Ninjihax, SKY3DS and SKY3DS+ can work with Freakyhax to play other region 3ds games, install homebrews& emulators and also mod 3ds roms.

Freakyhax tutorial with & without SKY3DS/SKY3DS+ on 3DS 11.0.0-33?
Preparations:

• A EUR/USA copy of the game (either eShop or cartridge), but eShop is pulled down by the Nintendo.
• Or the SKY3DS/SKY3DS+ card with Freakyforms Deluxe rom.

Instructions:

1. Get the latest version of freakyhax from https://github.com/plutooo/freakyhax/releases/tag/v0, and extract it to the root of your 3DS SD card.
2. Get the “otherapp payload” for your 3DS firmware from the Homebrew launcher website.
3. Put the otherapp bin on your 3DS sdcard root and rename it to “otherapp.bin”.
4. Get the homebrew starter kit from the homebrew launcher website and put it on your sdcard.
5. Insert the game card or Sky3ds/Sky3ds+ to 3DS/3DS XL console. Start the game.
6. In the game menu pick: Play → Camera → Load a QR code → pick the image.
7. Then your 3DS console will begain to load the popular 3DS homebrew launcher.

Troubleshooting
Make sure you have freaky.bin and the DCIM directory in your sdcard root.
Make sure you have a otherapp.bin in your sdcard root.
Make sure the otherapp.bin matches your firmware version, region and console type (new/old).
If none of the above helps, try resetting the save file.

The release for Gateway 3DS new firmware which supports GW Time Machine app & A9LH Installer is being delayed again, as is announced by the Gateway official site. Why they fail to release the GW firmware as they promised in the last announcement and how much longer we will have to wait ? Let us disclose these for you.

The reason for delayed release of Gateway 3DS new firmware?
According to Gateway team, the new Gateway beta firmware is still under testing by more testers, from whom Gateway official is waiting for more screen shots, videos, comments etc. on the very newest pending release. As they said they value customers' safety before anything, meaning that the safety is not 100% ensured until further tests confirm it. This is a little frustrated.

When will the new Gateway firmware be released ?
The upcoming new Gateway firmware, maybe ultra 4.0 or other, is said to be come within 48 hours. But no exact time is given. So let just wait and expect for it.

First we would like to apologize for the small delay on the release of our latest  firmware.  The  good news is that we have just sent to an extended panel of beta testers our newest firmware. If, as expected, all goes fine, the public release will be within 48 hours after that.

Gateway 3DS flashcart is worth of the waiting or purchasing ?
This will depend on what you expect from a 3DS flashcart and your 3DS console sysnand version.
If you expect to use a 3DS flashcard for playing 3ds games easily and conveniently on your 3DS/N3DS/2DS, then SKY3DS/SKY3DS+ will be excellent choices. As is known, SKY3DS/SKY3DS+ can support the latest 3DS firmware for 3ds roms.

Below is the guide for downgrading 3ds console from =<10.7 to 9.2. Hope it finds you helpful.

Requirements:
–Your console with FW version 10.7/10.6/10.5/10.4

–Homebrew Entrypoint:
10.6/10.7: OOTHax or Ninjhax, since Menuhax and browserhax don't work (currently) on 10.6 or 10.7.
10.4/10.5: OOTHax, Ninjhax, or Menuhax. If you don’t yet have menuhax, you can use the browserhax workaround to get browserhax for installing menuhax.

–SafeSysUpdater, to check your downgrade pack.

–The new sysUpdater for memchunkhax2.1 from here, or PlaiSysUpdater from here.

–Your console’s 9.2 downgrade pack from ‘that iso site’ [or ‘that chaosful site’. Google this:

–You are recommended to do a system format before downgrading, as it drastically reduces the chances of a brick. Also backup your SD Card, format it, and then copy all files back. That would reduce brick chances too.

Instructions:

1. Put the sysUpdater.3dsx in /3ds/sysUpdater on your SD Card, and the SafeSysUpdater.3dsx in /3ds/SafeSysUpdater folder.

2. Put the downgrade pack cia files in /updates on your SD Card.
3. Start homebrew using your entrypoint.
4. Select SafeSysUpdater and press A to check the files. Don’t press Y to downgrade, please don’t.
5. Only if it says everything is good, exit back to The Homebrew Launcher, and start the sysUpdater.Also:
6. Press Y to downgrade.
7. Wait.
8. Ok, you downgraded your console from 10.7/10.6/10.5/10.4 to 9.2!
Now you are able to use the Gateway 3DS flashcart on your console or install the CFW, and probably arm9loaderhax, and enjoy!

Take a look at the sky3ds official website, and you will find that it's been a long time since the SKY3DS+ gamelist.bin was updated. Of course, this doesn't mean that SKY3DS+ can only support a few 3ds games and not support newer or future 3ds games. Amazingly, with the release of SKY3DS+ firmware v112, now you can use SKY3DS+ card to play 3ds games without the file gamelist.bin. That's why it's no longer updated. Attention, you should install at least the firmware V110, otherwise you won't be able to play new 3ds games with SKY3DS+.

Games that SKY3DS+ cannot support on 3DS/NEW 3DS ?
SKY3DS+ has a quite long or unlimited game list, but there are games that are not supported by it. Before you start with SKY3DS+ game playing, you should know what games are not supported by SKY3DS+ for the time being.

• Eshop 3ds games: SKY3DS+ supports 3ds cart roms, not the exclusive eshop 3ds title. So if you download eshop 3ds roms online and put them in SKY3DS+, you can't play them.
• DS games: SKY3DS+ supports Nintendo 3ds roms, not the old DS games. It doesn't hack any DS rom to play on 3DS/NEW 3DS/2DS consoles. So if you only want to play NDS games, you can just buy the cheaper R4i DS flashcards card here.
• .CIA games: SKY3DS+ isn't compatible with .cia files. So if you put .cia games into SKY3DS+, it can't recognize them either. But if your 3DS/NEW 3DS/2DS console is with lower firmware version, you can use SKY3DS+ card to install 3ds CFW to play .cia 3ds games. In fact, this method is not recommended as playing .cia games on 3DS/NEW 3DS/2DS consoles is a very complex thing.
